Sam Milan

Sam Milan is a composer and orchestrator creating expressive, lyrical music for musical theatre and screen. Influenced by the opulent sound of the Golden Age of Hollywood and classic musical theatre, his work is defined by emotional depth, lush textures and a distinctive orchestral voice. Blending jazz-influenced harmonies, vivid instrumental colour and a contemporary cinematic edge, he brings that sense of glamour into a modern context.  

Melody, colour and storytelling are central to his music, shaping both original compositions and collaborative work. He is also particularly interested in collaborating on new musical theatre development and workshop projects. 

Alongside this, he creates symphonic arrangements of contemporary music, bringing the sound of an orchestra to new audiences in an accessible and engaging way.
